Photo Flashback to Summer
We started our summer out in Holland. In the polder with my parents. The weather was pretty cool and wet. 13 degrees and lots of borrowed warm clothes.
Colin came in 3 weeks later and we spend a wonderful day in Amsterdam. We took the train in, the kids loved it. We walked around all day. Past the old homes, canals, little cafe's, bikes. We took a boat tour thru the canals. It was great. We visited the Anne Frank House and ate dinner next to the Red Light District.

From there we drove to the Dutch coast where we spent the night in a cute Bed and Breakfast on the beach. Then south to Brussels. Only 2 hours by car. We did not have a lot on the agenda but wanted to visit Mannken Pis, the Napoleon Battle site, the Grand Place in the center of Brussels, Colins old school (International School Brussels), Colin's old house, eat french fries from a paper bag and have a chocolate covered Belgian Waffle. We did it all.

We spent 3 days in Brussels and made our way down to Paris. YEAH! We had such a great time. It was great to be with Esther,Jean Philippe, Yaelle and Rose.

With the two families we drove over to east coast of France and spend 5 days in Dinard.
